Reko Finland

A REKO circle (Swedish shortening for fair consumption) is based on a closed FaceBook group of organic producers and consumers all over Finland, managed on a voluntary basis.

History of the concept

The REKO system was born in January 2013, after a visit of the AMAP system in France. They begun at Jakobstad and Vasa, both situated in the Swedish speaking area of western Finland and then spread rapidly in the rest of the country.
